Our Story

“The difficulty lies not so much in developing new ideas as in escaping from old ones.”

– John Maynard Keynes

Our RAINTEAM Story

RAINTEAM is an organization that inspires to bring awareness to the importance and struggles of encompassing cancer. Over the next 20 years, cancer diagnoses are expected to increase nearly 50% in the United States. To address this inevitable increase, we promote cancer prevention awareness through a unique and effective approach.

RAINTEAM strives to inspire any individual to live a healthier lifestyle through nutritious food, fitness, and perseverance. To address the changes in our environment, in our food, in our stress levels, and in our work environments, we need a constantly changing nutrition plan and adaptive fitness plan if we want to persevere.

Why RAINTEAM?
Understand Each Letter of R.A.I.N.T.E.A.M.

Meet Dr. Wilhelm Lubbe, M.D., Ph.D., the visionary mind behind the RAINTEAM. Holding two doctoral degrees, Dr. Lubbe was awarded a prestigious medical program where he received both an M.D. and Ph.D. in molecular cancer research. Beyond winning multiple awards in both medicine and cancer research, he has co-authored a United States patent for a molecular guided cancer therapy. This strategy activates the body’s own internal and environmental bio-mechanisms to inhibit cancer spread. His research on natural molecular cancer treatments and innovative radiation techniques has drawn a world-wide audience.

Wilhelm was an NCAA Division I tennis player at Villanova University and received All-Conference distinctions as a pre-medical student athlete. After medical school, he also became a nationally ranked USA Track and Field sprinter.  Born in West Virginia, Wilhelm Johannes Lubbe has a completely German name with a South African twist. Lubbe, like Porsche, ends in an “e” but sounds like an “a”. In Texas, Wil says Lubbe is pronounced like Bubba with an “L”.
